Technology Modernization Specialist  

Responsible for operating at the intersection of technology, operations, and business stakeholders, requiring exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of how modern SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) ecosystems (e.g. Sales force, Azure, ServiceNow) enable efficiency, scalability, integration, and cost optimization in complex environments.  

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead research initiatives to create state-of-the-art technology across the enterprise.

  • Evaluate and recommend paths forward for enterprise technology, including SaaS adoption (Salesforce, ServiceNow), Azure-based re-

  • platforming, system integration, or replacement, based on business value, scalability, security, and operational impact.

  • Partner with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise SaaS frameworks, data models, and

  • integration standards.

  • Take initiative to drive teams and stakeholders toward next steps, clear conclusions, and actionable outcomes.

  • Lead and facilitate meetings with cross-functional stakeholders-including business, operations, and technology, to ensure product requirements are clearly defined and well understood.

  • Manage and drive discussions, confidently steering conversations toward productive, outcome-oriented decisions, particularly around

  • decisions and ensure alignment with business priorities.

  • Construct and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, feature definitions, process flows, SaaS capability

  • mappings, and product roadmaps.

  • Present multiple solutions options and trade-offs to stakeholders, including Saas vs custom development, platform extensibility, and

  • long-term operational considerations.

  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.

  • Five (5) years’ experience in product owner, solutions architecture, or technology-driven environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (CRM, Service Cloud, Azure) or Service Now.

  • Experience leading analysis and research of digital platforms and guiding cloud modernization or SaaS transformation initiatives.

  • Experience with SaaS integration patterns, APIs, data synchronization, and platform extensibility concepts.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence, facilitate discussions, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy aligned to business and operations goals within a SaaS first or hybrid technology ecosystem.
